French contractor Vinci has announced that Belen Marcos has been appointed as the president of the firm’s highway division, a subsidiary of Vinci Concessions.
Marcos holds a degree in civil engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a postgraduate degree in infrastructure and transport from the École des Ponts ParisTech.
Marcos has previously acted as president of Cintra US and has worked at Ferrovial.
He will also join the Vinci Concessions Management Committee, which is directed by Nicolas Notebaert, Vinci Concessions’ chief executive.
In a press release, Vinci says that Marcos will grow Vinci Concessions’ motorway projects.
Vinci Highways network spans 3,500km across 14 countries.
