Vinci Energies acquires its 24th firm of 2017

Vinci Energies has acquired Eitech, a Swedish firm specialising in electrical works and engineering, Vinci’s 24th acquisition of 2017.

Eitech employs 1,200 staff, generated revenue of €200m in 2016 and is based in 26 locations in Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north.

Last week Vinci acquired Oslo-based Infratek, a supplier of grid, rail and electric charging stations.

Vinci Energies now employ 3,500 people in Scandinavia and has a turnover of €650m.

Its 2017 acquisitions represent around €1.1bn of full-year revenue.

Yves Meignié, Vinci Energies chief executive, said: “Vinci Energies is continuing to extend, consolidating its operations in Northern Europe, particularly in Sweden. In this country, we believe Eitech will bring us an ideal extension of our footprint, especially in buildings, industry and infrastructure activities.
