The demolition of a 53m-high grain silo in the Danish village of Vordingborg went wrong on Friday when it fell the opposite way to that intended and damaged a library and music school.
Nobody was injured in the incidence, which was captured in this video.
A statement released on Facebook by the Vordingborg commune said the accident left the library filled with dust and debris.
The silo was being demolished in preparation for the building of a hotel and apartment block. Kenneth Wegge, who led the demolition team, told the Danish broadcaster TV2: "We still do not know what went wrong. We are currently investigating."
