Turner & Townsend acquires San Francisco construction manager

UK consultancy Turner & Townsend has acquired a small construction management firm in the San Francisco Bay Area (pictured) to further its expansion in the US.

Los Gatos-headquartered Trestle Construction Management has projects in various sectors under its belt and has worked on Apple’s flagship store at San Francisco’s Union Square.

The renamed Turner & Townsend Trestle will be led by Trestle’s founder and president Dave Bell. Bell will also serve on Turner & Townsend’s USA Board of Directors.

Turner & Townsend is currently involved with several infrastructure and real estate projects in the area for a series of global brands, including oil giant Chevron, Genentech, Intel, Pacific Eagle and Russell Investments.

John Robbins, Managing Director of Turner & Townsend USA, said: "Dave Bell and his team at Trestle have an unrivalled knowledge of the market in the Bay Area. Our combined strength will boost both our capability and capacity, enabling us to better serve our existing clients and continue our rapid growth trajectory."
