Spanish firm wins first power deal in Kuwait

Spanish firm, Isolux Corsán, has won its first contract in Kuwait for the engineering, procurement and construction of 172km of high voltage transmission lines.

The contract, worth $105m, was awarded by The Ministry of Electricity and Water of Kuwait, and will connect the Subiya power plant to several regions in the country.

Work on the project is expected to take 22 months.
