Serbia’s president Aleksandar Vucic has announced plans to build a museum dedicated to tennis champion and fellow Serb, Novak Djokovic, following his gold medal win this week at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

As reported by state-owned broadcaster Radio France Internationale, Vucic said the museum in Belgrade will be similar to a 1,500-sq-m museum dedicated to Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal in Palma, Mallorca.

The project aims to be completed in time for the World Expo 2027, which will be held in Belgrade.

Until now, an Olympic gold has eluded Djokovic, despite holding the trophies for every grand slam and Masters 1000 competition.
