Austrian contractor Strabag has won a €110m contract to build three 100m-high residential towers in Vienna.
The Triiiple building project, led by Austrian estate firms Are Development and Soravia, involves a trio of towers in the centre of Austria’s capital.
Two will hold 480 owner-occupied flats, and the third will house 670 micro-apartments.
Construction of the towers will begin with reinforced concrete skeletons, with extensive scaffolding used for load transferring.
Work on the project is due to start in August 2018 and be completed in the summer of 2021.
Strabag has recently won contracts in Romania, Chile, and Yorkshire, while attempting to stop a Chinese consortium from winning a contract in Croatia.
