Rider Levett Bucknall will act as quantity surveyor for the feasibility study of FC Barcelona’s new stadium.
Earlier this month the football club confirmed plans to redevelop the current stadium, a project expected to last four years from 2017 and to cost $820m.
The proposed new Camp Nou design would increase capacity from almost 100,000 to 105,000.
RLB was appointed by global sports arena and stadium consultants, ICON Venue Group. It has also been working in collaboration with Barcelona-based cost management firm, Projects and Facilities Management.

Rider Levett Bucknall has worked on other sporting events in the past including London 2012, Sydney 2000 and Beijing 2008. The firm recently announced its appointment to the Baku Commonwealth Games and it is also working on the Rio Olympic Games 2016.
