UK firm PLP Architecture has revealed its design for Park Nova, a 100m tall residential tower clad in a “vertical garden” in Singapore’s central Orchard Road.
Park Nova will house 54 flats on 21 floors, each offering 270° views across the city.

Inspired by the form of a butterfly, the building is elevated above the tree canopy on slender columns and contains undulating floorplates arranged into three wings to maximise natural shading and ventilation.
The structure also has a landscape level with a pool, Jacuzzi, meditation deck and residents’ pavilion. It also has a sky terrace on the 14th floor that houses a gym, a lounge and additional outdoor space.

PLP Architecture is working alongside Hong Kong architect P&T Group on the project, which is being developed by Hong Kong-Macau conglomerate Shun Tak Holdings.
The project is due to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
