A joint venture between Egyptian contractor Orascom and the UAE’s Al Sahraa Group will expand Fujairah International Airport in the northeast of the emirates.
Orascom has a 60% share of the $180m project.Â
Work on the scheme includes the construction of an air traffic control tower, the extension of an existing runway, an emergency runway and rapid exit taxiways.
