In November Bechtel and its joint venture partner, Enka, delivered an additional 18.5km of the Kosovo "Ibrahim Rugova" Motorway seven months ahead of schedule and within budget.
Since 2010, Bechtel and Enka have delivered 61km of the motorway, which now connects the Kosovo capital of Pristina and the industrial region of Peja to Morinë on the border with Albania.
The motorway is due to be completed in 2013.
Bechtel and Enka have successfully delivered major infrastructure projects in the region, including motorways in Albania, Croatia, and Turkey.
