Leighton Asia, a subsidiary of CIMIC’s CPB Contractors, has been chosen by Hong Kong’s Airport Authority to deliver the annex building and car park extension at Hong Kong International Airport.
The project, located at Terminal 1, is worth approximately US$210m (A$278m).
The seven-storey reinforced concrete structure will have a steel truss roof, and will contain a check-in, baggage reclaim, security screen and immigration counters.
Works on the Carpark 4 facilities expansion include delivery of an 11-storey reinforced concrete structure connecting to the existing carpark and T1 arrivals ramp.

Construction is scheduled to commence in April 2017 and be completed in 2019.
The Airport Authority Hong Kong recently chose a technology platform from US company Aconex for its Three Runway System (3RS) expansion project at the airport.
