Spanish firm Isolux Corsan has been awarded four Indian road contracts worth a total of $300m. Â
Two of the four stretches will be built in the state of Assam, in north-east India. The sections will make up part of the NH37, and will link the cities of Jorhat and Demow, a distance of about 90km.Â
The most expensive section is in the state of Odisha, between the cities of Talcher and Chandikole. It involves more than 130km of road at a total cost of $123m. Â
The fourth stretch will be part of National Highway 15, in the north-west of the country, and will connect the cities of Phalodi and Jaisalmer. This section will be the cheapest, costing $60m but stretching more than 160km.
