US consultant Hill International is to provide programme manage a project to build the South Al Mutlaa City in Kuwait.
The $80m contract was awarded by Kuwait’s Public Authority for Housing Welfare.
South Al Mutlaa City is a 104km sq development located 48km west of the capital Kuwait City.

Once completed, the development is expected to have a population of 400,000. Â
Mohammed Al Rais, tho runs Hill’s Middle East project management business, said: “We’re excited to be an integral member of the authority’s team on this innovative and significant programme.
“We believe this will be a model for the development of smart cities.”
