Iraq seeks help with government housing scheme

26 April 2013

Iraq’s ministry of construction and housing is seeking interested parties to help build a government residential complex in Nasiriyah.

Billed as an “investment opportunity”, the plan is to build 800 homes for ministry staff and other state employees.

The development, scheduled to take three years, is to include schools, a mosque, a health centre, supermarkets, shops, and a management building for the complex.
