Hyundai to build six towers and 100m-high “skybridge” in Seoul

Hyundai Engineering & Construction has been selected to build a reconstruction project in the Gangnam district of Seoul.

The Daechi SsangYong II apartment project includes the construction of six 35-storey buildings with 560 units and a 100m-high skybridge.

The design allows residents to view the Yangjaecheon river. It will also contain panoramic elevators and roof-top community facilities.

A Hyundai E&C official said: “Obtaining this project has enabled us to get the upper hand in other bidding processes for reconstruction targeting the Daechidong area.”

Construction is expected to cost $160m.
