Hyder opens new office in Hyderabad to focus on rail

8 April 2013

Hyder has opened a new office in Hyderabad to support its growth plans in India’s rail sector.

Hyderabad is India’s fourth largest city and the headquarters of Indian Railways in the South Central region.

"As a key rail centre in India, it makes sense for us to have a presence in Hyderabad," said UK regional MD, Graham Reid. "Our capabilities in rail signalling, permanent way, rail mechanical and electrical, and overhead line equipment are second to none. These technical skills are all in great demand, and we are making sure we have the resources in place to deliver for our rail clients."

The office will accommodate members of staff who will be working on projects across all of Hyder’s regions which require expertise in rail signalling, permanent way, mechanical and electrical engineering and overhead line equipment (OLE).

Hyder now has three offices in India, in Bangalor, Navi Mumbai and Hyderabad and 140 members of staff.
