Hill International has won a contract to manage the design phase in a project to build a new tower headquarters for the Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC) in Doha.
The proposed tower will be built at an estimated cost of $137m on Corniche Road, Zawya reports.
CEO of QIMC, Abdul Rahman al-Ansari, said: "Under this contract, we will start the design phase and secure the required permits to build a multi-purposes tower of 25 to 30 floors on the current building land."

In a memo to the Qatar stock exchange, Mr al-Ansari said he hoped the contract would lead to further co-operation with Hill International in real estate investment and industrial projects.
QIMC is a part-state-owned company that invests in small and medium sized industrial ventures in Qatar and other Gulf states.
In August it retained German-based real estate services firm Engel & Volkers to study the feasibility of building a new tower to replace its current, three-storey headquarters.
