Hill poaches Jacobs VP Steven Morris for airports role

US-based construction risk consultant Hill International has made Steven Morris, formerly Jacobs’ vice president for aviation, its own aviation sector leader.

Morris’s job will be to grow Hill’s aviation practice with new and existing clients.

At Jacobs he oversaw 1,500 professionals on airport assignments including public-private partnerships.

Before that, he ran his own business, Morris Airport Consulting, Inc., providing services on programmes with a total construction value topping $5bn, Hill said.

According to his Linkedin profile, Morris graduated in 1983 with a degree in architectural engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Hill chief executive Raouf Ghali said: "We are excited to bring a professional of Steven’s caliber to Hill. With our focus in the aviation sector, Steve’s leadership and expertise will help Hill deliver existing assignments and secure new wins at airports around the world."
