Belgium bank BNP Paribas Fortis has chosen two subsidiaries of France’s Eiffage Group to build its Brussels headquarters.
Eiffage Benelux and Eiffage Construction will begin construction work on the €190m "Montagne du Parc" offices in August 2017.
Belgian architects Jaspers-Eyers Architects and Styfhals & Partners worked with Austrian firm Baumschlager-Eberle on the design.
The 100,000 sq m project will accommodate 4,500 and according to Eiffage will "be in line with the latest high environmental and high energetic performances criteria".
Eiffage aims to "develop a sustainable building offering optimal interior layout flexibility while meeting all of BNP Paribas Fortis’s ecological, economic, aesthetic and social requirements".
The project is due to be completed in June 2021.
