Texas-headquartered global engineer Fluor has announced two boardroom changes, with Jim Breuer appointed in the newly created Chief Operating Officer (COO) role and Kevin Hammonds taking over as Chief Legal Officer (CLO).
As COO, Breuer will oversee Fluor’s project delivery and employee distribution across the company’s three business segments: Energy Solutions, Mission Solutions, and Urban Solutions.
Hammonds will replace John Reynolds as CLO, when he retires after 40 years with the company.
Reynolds will stay at Fluor as the Corporate Secretary to the company’s Board of Directors until May 2025.
David E. Constable, Fluor’s chief executive, said: “I could not be more pleased with the progress we have made over the past few years under our building-a-better-future strategy.
“As we wrap up the first chapter of this strategy, it’s time to develop plans for the next chapter, including maximising opportunities in growth markets, remaining laser focused on execution, generating consistent operating cash flow and continuing to develop the company’s most important resource, our people.”
