Eindhoven Airport and Dutch construction firm BAM have reached a financial settlement following the partial collapse of a car park at the airport on 27 May 2017.
There were no casualties in the collapse.
Financial details of the settlement are unavailable, and BAM states that neither they nor Eindhoven Airport will “publish further details of the agreement”.
BAM began rebuilding the facility in April 2018, and is due to complete the car park in October 2019.
Joost Meijs, Eindhoven Airport chief executive, said: “We are pleased that with this agreement we can end our discussions about the financial settlement and we can focus on the future.”
Jaap Hazeleger, BAM Bouw en Techniek bv director, said: “The rebuilding is progressing well.”
