Egis lands role on Hilton hotel in Jeddah

Taiba Investments Company has appointed France’s Egis to provide design review and supervision on a project to build a Hilton Double Tree Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The hotel will have 35 floors and 405 rooms, with a built-up area of 87,500 sq m near King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz square overlooking the Red Sea.

“With our extensive experience in delivering engineering and consulting services for hospitality projects, we are confident in our ability to ensure that this iconic hotel is built to the highest standards of quality and sustainability,” said Kamal Natour, Egis’ operations director in the country.

Saudi Arabia is central to Egis’ strategy of doubling its turnover to become a global top 10 engineering company by the middle of the decade. (See further reading.)
