Dubai-based Paramount Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to develop hotels and theme parks in Italy.
The company, which holds the licensing rights for properties using the Hollywood studio’s brand, signed a memorandum of understanding with Alpha Tours and Grand Hotel Via Veneto in a special ceremony in Abu Dhabi.

The MoU states that all parties will be searching for primary locations, particularly in Rome, Venice and Sardinia.
Some key areas have already been identified and feasibility studies will be carried out on several existing hotels, including some that are in operation, not operating, renovated or in need of renovation.
