The government of Dubai has announced plans for a fourth phase of its South Bay development, which will add 138 three-to-five bedroom villas, together with a few six and seven bedroom mansions.
Dubai South Properties recently awarded Al Kharafi Construction Company with a $410m contract to build the phase, together with phases three and five.
The first two are being built by Ginco General Contracting, as well as supporting infrastructure. All residences at the first three phases have been sold off plan.
Nabil Al Kindi, Dubai South Properties’ chief executive, said: “We are confident that the expertise of the appointed contractor will help us realise this project, which will be an ideal option for those seeking quality living with world-class amenities. This new development promises an elevated living experience.”
Phase four of South Bay is due to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
When completed, South Bay will contain 1,000 residential units, a kilometre-long lagoon and a 3km waterfront promenade.
