Cimic wins contract extensions worth $85m

Cimic subsidiary UGL has won several maintenance contract extensions worth US$85m (A$110m) in Australia.

The jobs are extensions or continuations of previous UGL power contracts involving maintenance and outage works in western and southern Australia and New South Wales.

Juan Santamaria, Cimic chief executive, said: “UGL has a history of delivering value to the Australian energy industry and we’re proud to continue to do so by offering maintenance and shutdown services to these long-standing clients.”

Doug Moss, UGL managing director, said: “These contract extensions are a testament to the adaptability and trust we share with our clients.
