Chinese contractor CRCC to build towers in Moscow

State-owned mega builder China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) has won a $107m contract to build two office towers for a private developer in Moscow.

CRCC has been in Moscow helping to extend its subway network since 2014, but this will be giant’s first project to construct buildings in the Russian capital.

The deal, brokered with the assistance of the Chinese embassy, sees CRCC building a 20-storey tower and a 13-storey tower for Afi Development, reports China Daily.

The project will last two years, said Meng Tao, president of CRCC Russia Corp.
