Case Construction Equipment has launched five new machines to “meet complex jobsite demands more efficiently and effectively”, with two compact wheel loaders, two motor graders and a new small articulated loader with a telescopic arm.
Case has also upgraded existing machines, with new versions of dozers, compact track loaders and skid steer loaders available.
The 112-horsepower 421G (pictured) compact wheel loader is designed for jobs like snow removal, loading trucks or road maintenance in close quarters.
It offers breakout forces of nearly 16,900lbs, rivalling larger models, and has a hydrostatic drive that allows attachments normally unavailable on larger machines.
The 3,600kg CL36EV electric compact wheel loader is quiet, making it a fit for green-credentialed projects or jobs in areas with noise restrictions. It has the same power and performance as similar sized diesel-powered loaders.
Case’s D Series motor graders will now contain electro-hydraulic controls with 3-axis joysticks and an 8-inch touchscreen display. A new in-cab layout with keypad control and electronic handle throttle have been added. The 836D and 856D motor grader are available with four-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Case has also launched a new version of the SL27 maneuverable small articulated loader with a telescopic-boom, giving operators an extended reach with a hinge-pin height of 142 inches.
The company will also upgrade all the M Series dozer models with technologies to allow for more precise cuts, fills and grades.
Case’s B Series compact track loaders and skid steer loaders now have added electronic features like rear object detection, which uses radar to detect potential hazards behind the machine. A new bi-directional self-levelling feature lets operators keep the bucket or fork level automatically when raising or lowering the boom. Operators can now access an attachment display catalogue with simple instructions.
Terry Dolan, head of CNH Construction Brands in North America, said: “Jobsites for construction, utilities and municipal crews are becoming more varied with more complicated requirements, whether it’s tight operating spaces, exacting project specifications or stringent regulations.
“The ever-changing challenges of the construction industry is partly what drives our ingenuity-obsessed mindset, and it’s why our latest round of innovations are focused on providing versatile, smart machines that make it easier to get more done.”
