Bechtel has opened a new office in Arizona to tap into the booming semiconductor, batteries, and battery materials markets.
The 8,000-sq-ft office in Chandler, near Phoenix, opened 27 June at an event attended by officials including Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke.
Bechtel employees in engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction management will work at the office.
The company already has offices in Glendale, Arizona.
Catherine Hunt Ryan, president of Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology, said: “The thriving business and high-tech landscape in the Metro Phoenix area allows Bechtel to attract top talent as we design and build projects for our customers.”
Kevin Hartke, Chandler’s mayor, said: “Bechtel is one of the largest construction and engineering companies in the United States. This beautiful new office will support the exciting economic development growth happening throughout our community and the region.”
