Canadian engineer Atkins has appointed Jo Jarman its finance director for the UK and Europe, replacing Mark Anderson who is taking a "career break".
Jarman, a 20-year construction veteran, previously working as Skanska’s finance director in the UK and also held senior roles at Amey and Atkins itself.
She said: "It’s great to be back at Atkins, which is at the forefront of the industry’s drive to become more productive through digital transformation. I now look forward to working with our talented teams as we focus on sustainable, long-term growth."

Atkins is a subsidiary of Montreal-based contractor SNC-Lavalin Group.
