Dutch consulting engineer Arcadis has appointed Kayleigh Owen as global service director for cost and commercial management (CCM).
Owen began working for Arcadis as part of its graduate scheme, progressing to commission manager for the £1bn transformation programme of Manchester Airport and as National Highways’ account director, where she was leading a 400-strong team across a 60-project portfolio.
She will now lead the 4,000 members of Arcadis’ CCM community, located in Asia, the UK and Europe.
Kayleigh Owen said: “When I joined the cost and commercial management community as a graduate, it was clear Arcadis had something very special – both in terms of our collective expertise and our reputation in the wider market.
“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to support and champion cost management (and quantity surveying) within and outside Arcadis, and I look forward to meeting, supporting and learning from the community in the coming weeks and months.”
Steve Bromhead, Arcadis’ global operations director of places, said: “Kayleigh’s expertise and breadth of experience together with her strong leadership will undoubtedly help Arcadis build on the work we have done to build a globally leading cost management business.
“With her career journey starting at Arcadis as a graduate, I am sure she will continue to be a role model for younger professionals and a champion in our industry for years to come.”
