France’s Bouygues has teamed up with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to its construction operations.

The aim is to bring cloud computing to Equans, Bouygues’ electrical engineering subsidiary.

AWS and Equans will launch “LegalAize”, a generative AI application, to help Equans’ project management teams analyse contracts and identify risk.

Bouygues senior vice-president Marie-Luce Godinot said: “Digital innovation is crucial for Bouygues to maintain our leadership and meet the evolving needs of our customers in construction, energies and services, media and telecoms.”
