A $300m development in Dubai designed by ZAS Group is to contain, in addition to the usual luxury flats and five-star hotel, a rainforest and beach.
The two Rosemont Towers will be 47 storeys high, with a floor space of 106,000 square metres. One will contain 450 hotel rooms along with a skylobby, a skypool, restaurants, health club and meeting rooms.
The other will accommodate 250 serviced apartments. The artificial beach and rainforest will be located on five-storey podium.
The hotel is being developed for Hilton’s Curio brand, which is currently made up of 10 four-to-five-star hotels around the world.
The buildings will be near Sheikh Zayed Road, the main artery of Dubai. They are already under construction and are due to be completed in June 2018.
Canadian consultant ZAS is the designer, architect and lead consultant on the project, while local firm Civil Engineering and Contracting is the main contractor.
